Refund policy

These are the terms and conditions set by GoBike Singapore Pte. Ltd., 202134825H, located at Blk 435A Bukit Batok West Ave 5, 651435.

In these Terms and Conditions, the term 'Rentals' can be used interchangeably with these experiences; 'Lite', 'Tours', 'Active', 'Trex', 'Prime' and GoBike Singapore' can be referred to as 'GoBike'.

'We' and/or 'Us' refer to GoBike Singapore, and the other party is referred to as the 'Customer' and/or 'Client'.

BOOKING CANCELLATION POLICY

Our booking cancellation policies for all cycling rentals and events are as follows:

1. A minimum of 3 days or 72 hours PRIOR to the commencement of your purchased rental or event, experience, or tour is required in order for a refund request.

2. Unfortunately, any cancellations made within 3 days of the start of the event cannot be refunded. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs, but we kindly ask that you give us sufficient notice so that we may offer the booking to someone else.

4. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your refund, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.

5. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

REFUND AMOUNT FOR SUBSCRIPTIONS

1. For Subscriptions or "PRIME" purchases, refunds will only be given for the remaining days left on the subscription, from the day you have subscribed to the bicycle on a pro-rated basis.

2. The cost of delivery is fixed at SGD S$50.00, and as such, any refund amount will need to include this amount before a final refund is issued.

REFUND AMOUNT FOR RENTALS

1. For Rentals, full refunds will be given only if the above policy conditions are met.

2. We take every refund request seriously and will be seen on a case-to-case basis as we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise.


CONDITIONS OF ACCEPTANCE

Damages, Lost and Other Issues

1. When receiving a bicycle, it is the Customer / Client's responsibility to conduct a visual inspection of the bicycle and ensure their own safety before using the bicycle.

2. It is the Customer / Client's responsibility to ensure they have and use the safety equipment provided by GoBike. We are not liable for any issues relating to or arising from this.

3. In the event that the rented bicycle is loss or damaged arising from improper use,  a price will be determined by our in-house mechanic, for any and all reimbursements of loss and/or repairs by the Customer / Client.

4. When entering any off-road path and/or trail, you are required to wear a helmet for your own safety. This is also a law enforced by the Republic of Singapore. We will not be liable for any issues regarding enforcement and any issues arising from it.

5. We advise you to stick to pedestrian paths, cycling paths, and PCN, otherwise known as 'Park Connector Networks', when cycling. You must adhere to the speed limits set by LTA, also known as 'Land Transport Authority'. Riding on the road is at your own risk, with the Tanah Merah Coastal Road, which has an on-lane dedicated cycling path, being the exception.

6. If the item is defective, or damaged or if you receive the wrong item please contact us immediately so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. We can be reached at our support line at (+65) 8752 7045

POSTPONEMENT OF START OF EVENT OR RENTALS

1. For GoBike Trex, in the event of wet weather, we will be able to change the timing and/or dates of the rental BEFORE the bicycle has been sent out for delivery or 2 Hours before the start time of the rental.

2. For all other rentals, in the event of weather, we will not be able to change the timing and/or dates of the rental. The rental will be considered as per the purchased item. NO REFUND would be given based on weather conditions.

3. In the event of wet weather, we advise you to seek shelter or use rain protection devices during your ride.

EXCEPTIONS / NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like use event merchandise or goodie bag gifts.  Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

EXCHANGES
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

INDEMNIFY

In the event of injury sustained during any services provided by GoBike, GoBike will not be held liable for any injury the Customer/Client has suffered from.
