The Experience
Kent Ridge Downhill Trail
Kent Ridge Park is a 47-hectare public park located in Kent Ridge, Singapore, between the National University of Singapore and the Singapore Science Park. Due to its undisturbed habitat and abundant plant life, it is a popular venue for bird-watchers and eco-tourists. At nearly 70 metres above sea level, the downhill line at Kent Ridge Park is located along Vigilante Drive, just off the endlessly winding South Buona Vista Road, where the most hardened of road warriors would have, at some point, attempted training climbs.
The Trail Appeal
A descent down this section of the Kent Ridge Park mountain bike trail will present a rider with a generous mixture of big wide berms and concave drop-offs.
The layout of the run may be a smooth flowing one but it will challenge rider ability to maintain speed and balance negotiate network tight hairpin corners that follow after another. at various points short seemingly steep concave drops test your mettle you either commit or opt for beside it.
